ShoreTel Re-Affirms Channel Commitment at 2011 Champion Partner Conference

UK partner Solar Communications one of the top 10 ShoreTel Circle of Excellence award recipients

London, UK, 23 August, 2011 –ShoreTel® (NASDAQ: SHOR), the leading provider of brilliantly simple IP phone systems with fully integrated unified communications (UC), declared its continued dedication to partners at the recent 2011 Champion Partner Conference, held July 19-21 in Chicago, Ill, USA. With attendance of nearly 1,000 participants, the conference demonstrated the strength of ShoreTel’s commitment to the channel.  

ShoreTel CEO, Peter Blackmore, offered an overview of the previous 12 months and provided insights into his vision for the company, including growing ShoreTel’s international presence. In addition, ShoreTel’s UK-based partner Solar Communications received a ShoreTel 2011 Circle of Excellence Award, the highest honour ShoreTel bestows to its top 10 partners for highest revenue achievement and the delivery of outstanding customer service.

“International is my background, after all, and the key is a focus and critical mass,” noted Blackmore in his keynote address. “If you look at where we’ve been successful with our international growth, it has occurred when we’ve been committed to scaling properly in a country.”
